Our source is in Western Anatolia, where we have two different cultivation sites. The first is in Manisa province, the groves are established on rugged hills, crossed by the once mighty Gediz river.
Here, the Lydians (1200 - 545 BC) established their city of Saittai.
The second is in Ayvalik, where centennial trees of Ayvalik variety. The Edremit Bay is in viewing distance. The region is famous for its long history of craftmanship around the olive production.
Ancient civilisations thrived here, and the fertiles soils and mild climate continue to bless the region. We pay tribute to the women and men who carried this tradition through time, geography and cultures.
